Richard White is a leading speaker, writer, and mentor/coach for accidental sales people. He works with business owners who are not from a sales background and do not yet have a sales director, guiding them through the maze of sales and sales management.Richard became an accidental sales person himself 15 years ago!!
Despite initially hating selling and not being very good at it, he resolved to discover a way that would enable him to succeed selling IT Consultancy without feeling like he was selling or his prospects feeling like they were being sold.
After a poor start, Richard soon started to get results and then started to share his method with others, continually working on improving the approach and learning how to deal with the mental barriers people have to selling.
After successfully coaching hundreds of business owners and regular sales people, Richard began coaching sales managers and sales directors, helping them to get great results with their sales people often without the need for training.Richard also began ‘filling in’ as a ‘quasi sales director’ for businesses run by accidental sales people without a sales director, helping them to make significant sales progress whilst reducing the risk of making expensive mistakes when recruiting sales people and sales managers.
Richard holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management where he specialised in marketing and operations of service businesses. He is also a member of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management.
